Knowing what I know now about the trauma, exhaustion, and just plain annoyance of selling my house, I would hire Marjorie again in a heartbeat. I had no idea it would be so HARD but Marjorie was ALWAYS there when I needed to talk to her. I trusted her to do right by me and she did. Okay, well first thing I want to say, is really how grateful I am that you handled this for us. I think this was to be honest with you a really complicated thing for us to do, because it required a lot of trust, to have somebody handle our home from 5,000 miles away.

So first of all I'm really grateful for the care you put into it. The second thing is, this was a really emotional process for me, this is my childhood home. This is where I raised my child. As an adult, I have a lot of memories in this home and in that neighborhood. And it was a really emotional process to let go of this home. And I needed to have somebody who I knew, who I trusted, but who also understood that this wasn't a simple business transaction. And, I think you took the extra care to make sure that that was acknowledged as part of the process. So I'm really grateful for that. So the first thing I want to say is thank you Marjorie for that.

So it was an emotional process and it was one that required a lot of trust because we were far away, we couldn't be there hands on. I thought that all of the vendors that you had in your Rolodex were A plus. And they did an awesome job of fixing it up and staging it, I almost couldn't look at the pictures. Because when I saw it so beautiful like that, oh my god, I can't believe I'm saying goodbye to that piece of property, and all the memories in it.

I think that the trust I have in you goes back a decade, because I've known you for almost 10 years. And I met you through my sister Mary, over 10 years ago, and I've known your name around the neighborhood, and I've known your reputation. And I know you to just to be a really savvy businesswoman to be incredibly dynamic, incredibly professional, and you really get things done. And while, I think there are probably a lot of good business women and businessmen in Washington DC not all of them necessarily have the best interests of the clients at the forefront and I never once felt that you didn't have us at the forefront of your consideration. for that personal care. I'm grateful for how much time and effort you went into it. I know that we had a couple of calls that, were late for you and late for us to deal with last minute crises. So I appreciate that, you're willing to make a phone call at one o'clock in the morning. And so that was that was super.

I also feel that we did better than I thought we would. I thought you were very realistic in preparing us for the market. I thought you were really plugged in and you really seem to know what the market would bear and then, you know what was worth, what was worth taking a risk around and what wasn't. So we needed that guidance from you. So this didn't feel simply transactional. This felt like it was a really positive working relationship, and I really can't imagine working with somebody else on my home if I ever have to sell one again. You would be the person I'd refer people to.

Steve and I want to thank you for making our home sale such an easy and smooth experience. To have it sold over ask without any work, while we were on vacation was nothing short of miraculous! You and your entire crew were wonderful. You all answered every question, took care of any issue that came up, and helped us at each step. We couldn’t be happier and have recommended you to all of our neighbors! We also loved Kara, the agent you set us up with in Chicago. She was great to work with and figured us out pretty quickly. Without Marjorie, I have no idea how I could have successfully sold my mother's house. She lived there since 1964, primarily as a widow and single mother. When she passed at the age of 98 in July of 2021, it was up to me as the sole remaining child to try and sell my Mom's house hands free all the way from California. Marjorie was a super star agent. She transformed the house that we had lived in for over 50 years. The house sold in one day for well over the asking price. Marjorie was also extremely knowledgeable and personable. If I ever need a real estate agent in the future in the DC area she would be my first choice, hands down.

Marjorie and her team were spectacular. She managed the entire process of selling our home, working with the property manager and her team of home repair experts to get it renovated, staged and ready for sale while we were six hours ahead, in terms of time zone, and three years behind (since we had last lived in the house). It too one month from the last tenants moved out until the house was ready to sell.

Once the house went on the market, her advice ensured that it got lots of attention and multiple offers on the first day, leading to a sale price higher than we had dared to hope on the evening of the very first showing. Her negotiating savvy was a major part of this success and we relied entirely on her advice.

As the property moved into the settlement process Marjorie and her team managed the whole thing smoothly, making sure that we knew what to expect, sorting out all the key players and recommending how to deal with the inevitable last minute glitches. Everything went as smoothly as a duck swimming across a lake, while Marjorie and her team were paddling us ahead with all the energy of a duck's feet below the surface.

We originally picked Marjorie because we knew her but her work, and that of her team, justified that decision all by itself. 11/10 would definitely rate her the best agent in the WDC area. I'd never expect to say that we "enjoyed" the process of selling a house but I can't imagine that there was an easier way to do it than with Marjorie.
